Contemporary Female Nude Painting

I've been spending the week trying to get canvases stretched and prepped, photographing some artwork and YES, straightened up my studio a bit. Did manage to finish one painting, and start some others-This piece is in acrylic on 24"x18" Gallery Wrap Canvas.

Artwork is available to purchase HERE

Another re-purposing project

I was cleaning out a cupboard and came across an old WC paper block. On the top page was a sketch and light green layer for an artichoke painting. I put some acrylic glazing on, drizzled ink around and I call it "Floral Lace" - 14" x 11"

This is for sale and ships mounted onto a 1.5 deep wood cradle with the sides painted black; ready to hang.

“Gothic Charm” - Contemporary Portrait by Arizona Artist, Sharon Sieben

Some of my artist friends thought this needed more color.  I concurred, so I grabbed palette knife and dived back into the paint jars.

Faces relate expressions that are perceived differently depending on the viewer.  It’s always interesting to hear comments and alternate titles that are suggested upon viewing.
